Family Pictures

We've done so many things that I intended on posting, but now I can't find my camera, and I can't remember any of them...Life is so busy & it makes me sad. This last weekend we went to my oldest nieces baptism. I can't believe she is 8, nor can I believe that I'm old enough to have a niece that is baptized! Avery is a sweetheart & I'm so proud of her, I think she really enjoyed "her" day- even if her sister was slightly jealous. We love you too Allie. Well, the mom of these girls is so talented! Back in JUNE (ya I'm really behind), my sister, Adele took some pictures for our family. I must say, although it wasn't the easiest growing up in a family of 8...it sure is fun being grown up with so much family and kids! Sorry for the overload...I'm sure you're not complaining though...

Another month down...

We went to the Dr. today for his 6 month check up

And the stats are...

Length- 27.3" 81%

Weight- 16.13lbs. 38%

Head- 50%

This little boy is a sweetheart. He may not be the cuddle bug that I want, but he has the cutest and most innocent smile.

He's growing so big. He is very strong, which he'll need to wrestle with his big brother.

Teething and Such

This last week has been way fun having Lance's sister Holly here visiting. Jett started army crawling. This morning Jett slept in till 8:30, went back down for a nap at 10am. It's 12:30 and he just woke up. Teething is the worst, but he's sure got a great way of handling it. We're headed Friday to his 6 MONTH appointment! I can't believe it!

July So Far

Well to start off July, the Jones family came down for the 4th!
It wasn't quite the same without the fire works, but we did our best to
make up for it.
Jett was great at napping on the go!

Monday morning we went to the soapbox races in Bisbee. Here is Jett, Mariah, and Brody staying out of the heat!

Jett has a love for his feet. You can find him like this often. He has really grown up in the last week(I think I say that a lot). We got rid of the swing. I was really afraid, but he takes Three- 1 1/2 naps during the day and goes to bed at 8 and sleeps till 7! booya! I love my sleepy boys!

Brody has finally discovered how fun Jett is. A couple days ago I was doing the dishes & the boys were down stairs playing. I would check on them every couple minutes to make sure Brody was being nice. Well, I finished the dishes and checked one more time and they were on the other side of the room. I asked Brody how they got over there and he said he pull Jett by the legs. haha. crazy kid. I'm just grateful he didn't try to carry him!

This is a picture of Brody trying hard to put the binkie in Jett's mouth. He was getting really mad at Jett, but Jett was just cracking up and spitting it out. (Jett would rather chew the binkie).

Last Saturday, I needed to run to Tucson for some hair color, so we made a little trip out of it. We went to the International Museum. It reminded me of the Smithsonian in DC, just way smaller and not quite as nice. It was a lot of fun though, and I totally recommend it to people in Sierra Vista looking for something to do!

He's growing!!! eek!

Here's What Jett's up to

-Rolling over everywhere. And gets mad when he can't get where he wants to go, meaning he would be happy crawling.

-Smiles and laughs at everything and anyone!

-Doesn't love eating from a spoon...it's just easier drinking from a bottle.

-Still naps in his swing...

-Is so ticklish, under arms, ribs, thighs, and feet. haha

-Is finally snuggling! I've needed it!

-Can cry himself to sleep.

-Loves when his brother plays with him.

-Is the happiest baby I've ever seen!

Ok, I'm done now, but I could go on on!

Newborn Jett

A week after Jett was born, my sister Adele came down and took some newborn pictures. I can't believe how fast they grow up. This first one is my favorite! Enjoy.

He had to get 2 shots, but he is a champ every time.

Jett is the sweetest baby.

He loves his daddy a ton. And giggles so hard when he tickles him!

He is so easy going. Jett can lay on the floor with a blanket for up to 2 hours and be completely fine.

We started rice cereal today. He didn't quite know what to do with the spoon, but loved the cereal. It helped him stay up longer than usual (3 hrs rather than 2). He is sure growing fast. I'm still in shock with how lucky I got with this baby. He is seriously THE best baby. I can't complain! we love him to pieces!
