Lance- Is still a work-a-holic.  Which I'm not complaining, I love it, except when he is supposed to relax.  The cold weather put a damper on work, but he takes every opportunity when it's sunny!  He loves being in Young Mens and loves the boys.  He is most definitely Brody's favorite, which is ok, because this 4 year stuff is tough for me.
Chelsea- I still love being home, especially in a new home.  I'm so grateful for this house.  With a mortgage, I've taken a liking to coupons, sales, being creative with decorating the house, and saving my pennies.  For this year, Lance & I have decided to focus on food storage & emergency preparedness.

Brody-  Loves teasing his little brother, no really I swear it's his favorite thing to do. Brody loves playing with the neighborhood kids.  He loves to help out with everything and saying prayers. He is way into Legos, and makes a really great mess with them!

Jett- Has quiet the attitude.  He hates to be teased, but has the most hilarious belly laugh.  Jett still doesn't talk much, he did finally learn the word "no," which is all we hear now. We are now looking into speech therapy.  I wouldn't worry about it much, if it didn't make him so frustrated when he tries to communicate.  But he can be such a sweetie pie & still my big cuddler...I'm definitely his favorite, and I love it!

-Jett had a hard time sleeping at the new house, so we decided to convert his crib into a toddler bed.

-Had a blast doing Christmas as a family.
-We loved Christmas Eve this year! and loved waking up in our own home.
-Closed on our house the last day of the year & it was a definite growing time for Lance & I.

I love our little family & I especially love my husband.  This last year has brought us even closer together & I'm so glad he is my best friend.  We have so much fun together and I wouldn't want to spend life with anyone else.  Our boys...are boys.  They are growing so much & even though they are hard right now, it won't always be that way & I am figuring out how to enjoy--even when it's hard.  We are so grateful for all of our blessings & I know the Lord looks over us & knows each of us & what we need.  Here's to a New Year...I'm excited for what it will bring!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas began right after Thanksgiving. We immediately put up the tree and watched Christmas movies.  The first day in December we went to the Sierra Vista Light Parade.  It was so fun and we got awesome seats.  It seemed like Halloween again with the amount of candy Brody collected! Jett was not a fan of the parade and sat in the truck most of the time.

The next week we had our Ward Christmas Party.  Lance & the Young Men were in charge of the food and did pit BBQ Pork.  It's incredibly delicious.  The decorations were amazing and Brody had a special role in the Nativity as a wise man.  He took his part very serious, they were to wait quietly in the hall until it was their turn.  Brody didn't move a muscle, holding his "present."  He was very reverent as he walked in & knelt by the baby Jesus.  I was very impressed & was happy to give him positive praise!
Christmas Eve was a blast!  Aunt Kimber put together the evening.  We acted out the Nativity and Jett was the most active baby Jesus I've ever seen.  Brody was once again a wise man.  We ate delicious Mexican food & had yummy desserts and snacks.  We got home pretty late, but the boys still had lots of energy!  Brody was very serious about getting to bed and was concerned that Jett was going to ruin Santa coming because he wasn't going to bed.

Christmas was magical!  I loved every minute of being at our home.  I woke up 6:30am wondering when Brody would come get us....by 6:50am I couldn't wait any longer.  I woke Lance up & he went to wake the boys while I recorded them coming out.  They were SO excited.  We went through our stockings & then opened gifts.  We didn't do a ton of gifts this year (since we just bought a house...)  but I think it made each gift that much more special.
